Course Description

You are evaluated by everything you do and say. This session will focus on what is ethical leadership and explore guiding principles that allow leaders to lead with a moral compass.

With ethical leadership, it is possible to bring the best out in others when we focus on positive intent and impact. Leading with the greater good in mind promotes a vision for the future for ethical change. Participants will not be challenged to think beyond the rules of professional conduct. Instead, the focus will dive deeper reflecting on personal, professional, and organizational applications based on guiding principles.

  • Define the three keys to building trust with employees

  • Identify seven ethical responsibilities

  • Give examples of how to apply ethical principles to concerns

  • Determine how to prepare a leader for feedback

  • Plan constructive actions to be a better example going forward

In addition, it has been his pleasure to give over 600 presentations in the U.S. and Canada based on the 12 books and over 35 articles he has written over the last nine years. 

As a speaker, clients often share that their people are more focused on the tasks at hand, more confident when making difficult decisions, and more at peace in their professional and personal lives. In addition, all participants leave with actionable items they can apply immediately on the job. 

Mike has a BS from Valparaiso University, an MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA from DePaul University.
