This course builds upon the lessons in “LinkedIn for CPAs, Level 1: Creating a Complete & Compelling LinkedIn Presence.”
It’s recommended that you attend the Level 1 course before attending this course, as Level 2 assumes that you already understand why an optimized profile is critical to your success on LinkedIn; how to craft a “complete and compelling” profile; and how LinkedIn’s value as a business development tool can help you grow your business. Additionally, you should already understand the necessary steps to building a large and relevant network of connections on the platform.
In Level 2, we focus on the following: recommending specific ways you can leverage the platform’s social features; describing the value of content marketing for CPAs and how to use LinkedIn Publisher to position yourself as a thought leader; providing additional tips and tricks for using LinkedIn’s Advanced Search as part of a targeted business development campaign; defining best practices for Company pages; tackling the challenges and opportunities of Groups; and providing recommendations for analyzing the opportunities provided by LinkedIn advertising and leveraging LinkedIn’s mobile apps.
Getting Social: How social engagement on LinkedIn is different from that on Facebook and Twitter, and why you should consider it part of your essential business development work
Content Marketing: How content marketing continues to change marketing, and how LinkedIn’s publishing platform can play a big role in your success on LinkedIn
Company Pages: How to develop a company page on LinkedIn for your firm, the benefits of doing so, and the recommended level of ongoing commitment
